Page 2 ReikiUSUI System of Natural HealingOrigin of ReikiThe word Reiki is a Japanese term for Universal Life Force Energy. This field of energy underlies all of creation. By tapping into this vast source we are able to facilitate healing for ourselves, as well as for others. Reiki healing was re-discovered in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui between the late 1800's and early 1900's. Reiki HealingA Reiki practitioner is able to receive and transmit increased levels of Universal Life Force Energy. Stress, emotional baggage and outdated belief systems cause the clogging up of our energetic systems and disrupt the balance. A Reiki practitioner allows your system to rebalance itself by becoming a plug between you and the Universal Life Force Energy. Your Innate Wisdom assists your system to draw Universal Life Force Energy through the practitioner into your own body for healing. Healing is effected on either the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level, or on a combination of these levels. Reiki facilitates the restoration of harmony and balance. It supports our journey in Self-empowerment and assists us to uncover our true potential. Reiki Treatments:Fee: R200Duration: One hourA Reiki treatment normally takes place with the client lying fully clothed on a treatment bed. (Exceptions apply to specific health conditions where a client is unable to lie flat.) The practitioner gently places his/her hands on the client's body in specific positions and allows the energy to flow.Relaxation and stress relief are promoted, providing a space for healing to occur. _______________________________________________________________________________Reiki is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique that is used for stress reduction andrelaxation. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. Reiki does not take the place of medical care. It is recommened seeing a licensed physician or licensed healthcare prfessional for any physical or psychological ailment. Reiki can complement any medical or psychological care. The body has the ability to heal itself and to do so, complete relaxation is beneficial. During Reiki training we assist in allowing your system to open up to this healing force in an expanded way.Reiki IThe focus during this workshop is mainly on self-healing, plus the benefit of sharing Reiki with family/friends/pets.Duration: One and a half daysTime: Friday evening, 18h00 - 22h00 Saturday, 09h00 - 17h00 (Alternative times may be arranged)Cost: *R600-00 (Prepaid)The course fee covers notes, instruction & refreshments. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC LUNCH*Course fee is subject to change annually.Reiki II - Practitioner Level. (Prerequisite: Reiki I Certification)This course equips you with tools for the application of Reiki in a broader and more powerful way, including distance healing. Duration: One and a half days. Time: 14h00 - 17h00 (1st Saturday) 09h00 - 16h30 (2nd Saturday) (Usually two consecutive Saturdays, but alternative times may be arranged) Cost: *R600-00 (Prepaid)The course fee covers notes, instruction & refreshments. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC LUNCH*Course fee is subject to change annually.Reiki Masters Training (Prerequisite: Reiki I & II Certification)The core of this program entails the sharing of information, support and practical energy related skills to assist in the clearing of emotional baggage and outdated belief systems. This is a essential requirement for the journey towards self-mastery, supported by Reiki and various other energy healing related tools. (Further information is shared at an introductory talk, prior to the commencement of the course.)Duration: This program runs over a period of twelve months, commencing in September each year.Time: One x 3 hour group meeting on a Saturday morning, once a month. page 4 Free Reiki Distance Healing Prayer CircleWhat is distance healing?Underlying all of physical reality is a vast Forcefield connecting all of creation. By tapping into this Universal Life Force, it is possible to allow healing energy to flow to various areas of need, in a manner that transcends time and space. Where?In the comfort of your own home. Although we do not meet in person, we are always connected at a deeper level, a level of being where healing may occur.When? On the first Wednesday evening of each month, between 19h00 and 19h30. (GMT + 2 hours)Requirement:There is no need to contact us beforehand. The Reiki Distance Healing Prayer Circle is open to any individual who wishes to be receptive to the healing energy.Before the start of the session:In your mind or out loud ask to be included, e.g.: "Please include me in the Reiki Distance Healing Prayer Circle today at 19h00." Sufficient time is allowed before a session for discussion, in order to ascertain what the priority theme/imbalance is that needs to be addressed during the session.The client remains fully clothed.The priority intervention for the session is selected from the following:• Clearing the Self: Restoring balance and energy flow.• Healing Wounds: Releasing blocks in the energy system that resulted from physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual wounding.• Changing Limiting Beliefs: Replacing limiting beliefs stored in the energy system with new ones that better serve ones highest potential.• Healing Relationships Energetically: Energy centers are assisted to release energetic ties that affect personal growth negatively.• Reshaping Family Energy Patterns: Clients are assisted to discover new ways of connecting with family members._______________________________________________________________________________Energy Medicine complements other health related practices and does not replace traditional medical/health care.
